Anduril Industries has been awarded a US Army contract to develop a Battle Manager prototype for missile defense operations in the Western Pacific using its Lattice software platform. The effort is intended to strengthen deterrence in the Indo-Pacific by improving the military’s ability to respond quickly to increasingly complex missile threats.
Lattice integrates data from existing missile defense systems across multiple military services and domains into a single operating picture. Instead of relying on operators to manually coordinate information between disconnected systems, the platform uses software to fuse sensor and weapon data in real time, helping commanders make faster and more informed decisions during missile attacks.
The system also uses autonomous optimization, modeling, and simulation tools to dynamically task sensors, recommend engagement options, and continuously adapt plans as threats evolve. By centralizing command-and-control functions, Anduril aims to provide the U.S. and its allies with a faster, more effective missile defense capability in the Western Pacific’s increasingly challenging security environment.
