Well, that was historic. Your Survival Guy barely remembers the Blizzard of ’78, but what I do remember is skiing down my neighborhood hill. That was cool. Yesterday’s storm brought so much heavy, concrete-like snow that you could have easily had an epic snowball fight, except no one was around. It was a ghost town with the two-lane road outside our driveway plowed to a single lane for emergency vehicles only. Our animals are going a little stir crazy. It’s hard to navigate in three-feet of snow when you’re less than a foot or so tall. Remarkably, we didn’t lose power. Now the digging out begins.
