Immigration Bill Total BS

What a waste of time by your elected representatives in Washington. No wonder President Trump has been holding his nose and staying far away from this immigration quicksand bill.

Wake up here. Progressive/Liberal Democrats, as their mid-term election prospects evaporate, need uninformed “hat in hand” long-term voters in the worst kind of way. Hordes of young immigrants provide the perfect answer. As such, Senate Democrats, working against the best interests of America’s skilled blue-collar workers (championed by president Donald Trump), are 100% lock certain to mount a filibuster of any conservative immigration bill.

Bingo! No immigration bill. And your House rep has not made this clear to you? Oh well …

The Wall Street Journal reports:

Republican leaders delayed a vote on an immigration bill designed to be a compromise between GOP moderates and conservatives, and it remained uncertain on Thursday whether enough lawmakers could be brought on board to get the bill across the finish line.

With the vote pushed back until next week, House Republicans huddled behind closed doors to address members’ concerns.

The House legislation would face an uncertain fate in the 100-member Senate, where it would need 60 votes to pass, and all 49 members of the Democratic caucus are currently opposed to the bill.
