
Raytheon, an RTX (NYSE: RTX) business, was awarded a $627 million contract to supply the Netherlands with Patriot® air and missile defense system equipment, including radars, launchers, and command-and-control stations.
The contract supports the Dutch government’s effort to modernize its integrated air and missile defense capabilities. Patriot, a combat-proven system, defends against long-range cruise missiles, tactical ballistic missiles, and air-breathing threats, and serves as the foundation of air defense for 19 countries worldwide, including nine (Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Ukraine) in Europe.
