The winner in Tuesday’s election was the Tooth Fairy. Elected to make voters’ every wish come true, she’ll have her work cut out for her.

Don’t like your station in life? Feel you deserve more? Blame it on someone else and vote for the Tooth Fairy. She’ll make life easier.

Good luck with that.

There’s No Limit to Demands from Government

As Your Survival Guy witnessed with my Guccis on the ground in Paris, there is no limit to wishes and demands from government.

Once government begins giving stuff away for free, it opens the floodgates to limitless demands for more, which cannot go on forever, as many are learning. Burning the place down to get what you want comes next.

Can America Maintain Law and Order?

How far is the United States from becoming France?

Law and order can only do so much if the people reject it.

As an aside, fewer basic services make it even more pertinent for you to figure out how to protect what you have. Do you understand your risk tolerance? Do you have areas of exposure or weakness? Now’s as good a time as any to figure that out.

Monetary Inflation Is the Root Cause

When voters say it’s the higher cost of living, they don’t stop to think about how that happened.

Inflation is always and forever a monetary event.

When you increase the money supply, you get inflation. Bidenflation was an inherited event. Trump put a stop to its exponential growth, but you can’t put that genie back in the bottle. Look at home prices in your neck of the woods. How are they possibly this high?

At some point, the money runs out because costs become so exorbitantly high that basic needs cost a fortune and the hard choices are made for you, rather than by you.

Action Line: Stay tuned. The technocrats will never point to a spending problem. It’s always about revenue and crowding out the private sector. Want to discuss the election results? Email me at ejsmith@yoursurvivalguy.com.
