Another Trump/Republican beat down, this time in South Carolina.
We were driving from old town Beaufort, heading to I-95 south through Georgia and toward Jacksonville, Florida to the I-295 extension towards St. Augustine to Palm Coast (Hammock Beach).
The final South Carolina lawn sign count was 27-5 Trump-Biden in the presidential count and dozens and dozens of Graham, Mace, and Davis local lawn signs overwhelming both the presidential count and the invisible Biden/local Democrat count.
In brief: The Graham, Mace, Davis team was perhaps the most organized and energized effort Debbie and I have witnessed on the ground all summer and fall.
As has been the case all summer, there has been 0.0 enthusiasm for Biden, and honking, flag-waving, banner flying for President Trump on virtually every intersection and waterway.
We have been hearing from National Progressive Radio (NPR often quotes the NYT) that Trump is well behind in the polls. Honestly, if this polling is taking place mostly in big blue cities, I would not be surprised. America is divided into two countries and will remain divided for the immediate future.
There is the 2nd Amendment-centric, constitutionally focused, small business (employment-generating) middle, north-central, and southern group of states. And then there is the West Coast, Washington DC, New Jersey, New England corridor. Neither the Democrat nor Republican party apparatus counts for much any longer.
Regardless of whether Trump or Biden wins the upcoming election, the result will be the same. Second Amendment (guns), constitutionally strong America possesses all the real power and will control the ground game, as well as the Supreme Court. The progressive liberal, college radical Marxists, BLM crowd will be taken apart in one form or another and headed to the discard bin.
