Debbie and I began our Paris Palace hotel and restaurant anecdotal evidence-gathering hunt back in fall of 2010.
We have since visited every Palace multiple times and dined at literally dozens of restaurants/bistros/cafes. Our travels] have been concentrated in the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 16th Arrondissements.
Over the coming year, you’ll be able to catch up on the complete roster of marvelous Palace hotels and a couple of dozen or more dynamite spots to dine.
To kick off our extensive effort, let’s start at our most visited restaurant through the years. Hands down the winner is le Cherche Midi, an Italian bistro right around the corner from our favored Hotel Lutetia.
And it’s not just its pasta that is made in-house. Everything from the kitchen tastes like it comes from your grandmother’s heart. The space is warm and friendly with an outstanding management. Make le Cherche Midi tops on your list during your next visit to the 6th Arrondissement in Paris.
