Our trip to the “Best Family Resort in New England” (Yankee Magazine)
We travel the northeast extensively on our Harleys, but to date had somehow missed the Wildflower Inn in Lyndonville, VT. Lyndonville is in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, three hours north of Boston. The fabulous family resort is part of a 500-acre estate that also includes a number of other attractions. Meadow View Farm raises Belted Galloways (a.k.a. Oreo Cookie cows). If you are looking to buy all-natural grass-fed beef from cows that never eat any corn, this is the place. Stepping Stone Spa offers massages and a variety of spa services. And the Chapel of the Holy Family is a truly unmatched spot for a wedding. We toured each and could not wait to get back to tell our friends. It’s a fabulous place for kids, with the children’s activities program, pool, batting cage, tennis court, basketball court, and petting-animals barn. And the resort also boasts a view you would not believe!
