L3Harris Technologies has been selected to provide its Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS) for Poland’s new Miecznik-class frigates, built by PGZ Stocznia Wojenna for the Polish Navy. The system will improve ship performance, safety, and operational efficiency across the fleet.
The IPMS, already used on nearly 300 vessels in 28 navies—including those of the UK, Netherlands, Australia, and Canada—integrates advanced ship control and monitoring capabilities to enhance situational awareness and reliability at sea.
These frigates, based on the Arrowhead 140 design by Babcock International, will significantly modernize Poland’s naval forces, extending range, endurance, and overall combat capability in regional waters.
