L3Harris’ SKY RAIDER II INTERNATIONAL is designed to give fourth- and fifth-generation fighter fleets a lower-cost platform for persistent armed ISR and light-strike missions. By taking on routine missions that do not require a high-end fighter, the aircraft can save an estimated $20,000–$40,000 per fighter flight hour, while preserving fighter readiness, reducing airframe wear, and extending fleet service life.

The aircraft is designed to fill the gap between UAVs and fighters, providing human decision-making, persistent armed overwatch, and precision-strike capability. Its modular architecture can integrate a range of L3Harris systems. Red Wolf provides a kinetic launched-effects capability for long-range precision strike, while Green Wolf adds electronic warfare, electronic attack, and electronic support capabilities, with up to five hours of loiter at a 250-nautical-mile combat radius.

For surveillance and targeting, the aircraft can employ WESCAM MX-Series electro-optical/infrared sensors, providing day, low-light, and nighttime imaging, target acquisition, and laser designation. The MX family includes systems optimized for different missions and altitudes, from lightweight tactical ISR to long-range, high-altitude persistent surveillance.

Built on the Air Tractor AT-802U platform, SKY RAIDER II INTERNATIONAL can operate from austere locations and unimproved runways while carrying up to 6,000 pounds of payload. Together, its persistent ISR, precision-strike, electronic-warfare, and targeting capabilities allow fighter fleets to reserve their most expensive aircraft for air defense, high-end strike, and other missions requiring advanced fighter performance.
