Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, has introduced new Armed Black Hawk helicopter kits that expand the Black Hawk’s mission capabilities into roles including assault, close support, medical evacuation, ISR, and tactical lift within a single aircraft platform.

The modular kits allow rapid reconfiguration in about three hours, giving operators flexible, cost-effective multi-mission capability while reducing the need for separate aircraft fleets. The upgrade strengthens the Black Hawk’s role as a versatile, continuously evolving combat-proven platform for modern military operations.
