“Never Back Down” Fundraising Upbeat

Not until 15 October are Ron DeSantis’s reports due to the Federal Election Commission.  Wealthy Republican donors, however, are upbeat and bullish, saying the money raised obliterates a persistent narrative that “the governor’s GOP financiers are jumping ship and that his 2024 effort is poised to run out of cash.”

Ron DeSantis is doing well in Texas. The Florida governor reportedly raised more than $1 million during a September fundraising swing through the Lone Star State, including $300,000 in Houston.

The job isn’t done, however, warns the Dispatch. DeSantis must now convince unaffiliated voters that he can beat former President Donald Trump.

After watching two horribly moderated GOP debates, Carpe Diem in American Greatness, says “no more.”

It’s time for every candidate not named Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis to drop out of the race.

The reality is, outside of those two candidates, no one else has a legitimate reason for staying in the race.
