Dick & Debbie Young Support Glenn Youngkin
On the road from Newport to Key West, Debbie and I spent yesterday driving from the Delaware Water Gap into northeastern Virginia’s tony horse country to Keswick Hall, outside of Charlottesville, Virginia.
The polls put Terry and Glenn in a dead heat for the Virginia gubernatorial election, but tallying yard signs along the way, Glenn Youngkin looked to be burying the fading progressive loser, Terry McAuliffe. Enthusiasm for Youngkin was almost palpable the further away we were from eastern Virginia.
Fingers crossed: on 2 November, Glen will be Virginia’s next governor. Virginians should be behind this thoughtful champion of families.
Judging strictly by the gang of massive red Youngkin lawn signs, Virginia’s horse farm owners, once away from the SUV-driving moms’ progressive neighborhoods bordering D.C., want no part of a Terry McAuliffe redux.
Hey @BarackObama, I hear you’re in town trying to bail out @TerryMcAuliffe‘s campaign. If you’re up for a game, I’m ready! pic.twitter.com/sBcmObowZ1
