House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has requested that the social media platforms Facebook and Twitter take down a viral video that criticized her ripping up of President Trump’s State of the Union speech to no avail, as The Daily Caller reports.
The video in question, which was shared by President Donald Trump and many of his supporters, replays the moment of Pelosi ripping up the speech after President Trump highlighted some of the most inspirational stories and moments from the speech, including the 100-year-old Tuskegee airman, the military family reunion, and a black girl being awarded a scholarship to the school of her choice.
The video has currently been viewed over 2.1 million times on Twitter, and has reached over 5 million people.
