Do Americans realize that their country is a constitutional republic and not a democracy? The word democracy appears nowhere—not even once—in America’s Constitution. The Founders would be sickened by the stupidity that controls every corner of the central government today. I can offer some starting points for change, though they would likely be unpopular. That said, I’m not looking for anyone’s vote or money.–Dick Young
