Speaker of U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi led a U.S. congressional delegation to Ghana from July 28 -31, 2019 to commemorate the “Year of Return” and mark 400 years since the first enslaved Africans arrived in Jamestown, Virginia. Nancy Pelosi is looking to pass Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill by the 4th of July. Like the COVID relief bill, which had little to do with fighting the virus, only about a quarter of this latest $2 trillion boondoggle has to do with “infrastructure.”
Joe Biden’s Climate Subsidies and Social Welfare:
- advance “environmental justice”
- expand Medicaid
- destroy freelance jobs via the PRO Act
- “eliminate racial and gender inequities in research and development and science, technology, engineering, and math”
- spend $174 billion on electric vehicles
- spend $157 billion on repairing and modernizing roads, bridges, ports, waterways, and airports
How, you may wonder, will this latest $2 trillion monstrosity be paid?
Joe Biden is proposing raising the taxes from 21% to 28% on corporations that fuel our economy and provide jobs, BRIGHT editors remind readers.
From Former President Donald Trump:
Biden’s policy would break the back of the American Worker with among the highest business tax rates in the developed world. Under Biden’s plan, if you create jobs in America, and hire American workers, you will pay MORE in taxes—but if you close down your factories in Ohio and Michigan, fire U.S. workers, and move all your production to Beijing and Shanghai, you will pay LESS. It is the exact OPPOSITE of putting America First—it is putting America LAST!
If this monstrosity is allowed to pass, the result will be more Americans out of work, more families shattered, more factories abandoned, more industries wrecked, and more Main Streets boarded up and closed down—just like it was before I took over the presidency 4 years ago. I then set record low unemployment, with 160 million people working.
