U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has warned that “Due to Joe Biden’s open border, the U.S. is at a greater risk for a major terrorist attack today than we have been any time since 9/11.” The Federal Newswire reports:
Recently, border officials in San Diego released a warning regarding the potential presence of people associated with the conflict between Hamas and Israel at the U.S southern border. Senator Cruz voiced his concern about the news in a recent tweet.
“On Sunday, @DailyCaller revealed a Border Patrol memo warning there is a risk of Hamas, Palestine Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah trying to get into the U.S. by illegally crossing the southern border. […] Due to Joe Biden’s open border, the U.S. is at a greater risk for a major terrorist attack today than we have been any time since 9/11.” – Ted Cruz, United States Senate
According to a recent article from abc News, a recent notice from San Diego U.S Customs and Border Protection indicated that personnel connected with the war between Israel and Hamas could potentially appear at the U.S Southern border with the intent of crossing. The article additionally states that the report detailed signs that could be used to indicate such people; agents at the border should look out for solo traveling men in military garb. The CBP notice also showed specific insignias that the terrorist groups wear.
