Americans are outraged by the radical “defund the police” movement championed by the Marxist BLM organization and criminals everywhere. Elected Democrats are joining the attack with the introduction of a bill to take police out of schools. Sen. Elizabeth Warren worked with two members of the “Squad”–a group of four extremist freshmen representatives–in sponsoring the legislation.
The bill seeks to take the money used for school resource officers and to instead spend it on counselors and social workers.
Despite proposing such radical measures, Elizabeth Warren is a possible pick for Joe Biden’s running mate. That’s a measure of how extreme the Democratic Party has become.
Not long ago, it was the Clinton administration who oversaw the increase in the number of police in schools in the 1990s, including the signing of the Gun Free Act of 1994 and the creation of the Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS). Today’s Democrats are trying to tear down what Bill Clinton accomplished and replace it with a militant social justice agenda.
It is no surprise to see Warren joining BLM’s war on police. She was the first presidential candidate ever endorsed by the Black to the Future Action Fund, created by Black Lives Matter co-founder Alicia Garza.
Garza’s group wants to:
- “Eliminate law enforcement officers’ ‘Bill of Rights’,”
- Eliminate bail (how’s that working in NYC?), and
- Prevent employers from doing criminal background checks
Garza and fellow BLM founder Patrisse Cullors are, in their own words “trained Marxists.” The group also supports the HR40 reparations bill, which Warren cosponsored. She discusses the plan in the video below.
Despite the Marxist BLM’s desire to “defund the police,” with Warren’s support, over 81% of Black Americans want police to spend the same or more time in their area. Presumably, that includes the schools where their children are.
Elizabeth Warren is trying to take police protection away from them, and that’s why she’s the Ass of the Week.
