A Super Bowl for the Ages

February 13, 2023 By E.J. Smith - Your Survival Guy

Congratulations to the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs and MVP Patrick Mahomes. What a game. Mahomes’s run up the middle for 26 yards late in the fourth quarter (on a bad ankle to boot) looked like he was running from his best friends on the playground. That was awesome.

The most hated/loved guy at around 10pm EST last night was Fox Sports analyst Greg Olsen questioning a holding call against the Eagles that basically sealed the win for the Chiefs.

Yes, it looked like a penalty if you studied the replay like you had to give a presentation on that one play the next day.

Side note: Your Survival Guy and fam went to the Bruins game Saturday against the Capitals. One penalty against the Bs resulted in the Caps scoring a goal in an eventual 2-1 Bruins loss. OK it was a hook if you studied the replay, but if you’re going to call those types of penalties, how about being consistent through the entire game? Tough one for Philly fans.

OK, half time show? Our party had the fun bets going such as what Rihanna’s first song would be. I had “Disturbia.” No dice. She stepped up big time especially singing on that platform and (she announced) pregnant? Wow.

Favorite commercial? Bud Light with Miles Teller and wife Keleigh Sperry.
