Need Some Good News?

Kenya just came out with some uplifting news. The country has been cracking down on poaching, which has resulted in a 12% increase in the elephant population.

Since 2011, there “has been a notable increase of all three species of giraffe found in Kenya.”

“Efforts to increase penalties on crimes related to threatened species appear to be bearing fruits. Such efforts should be sustained for long-term conservation and management of this species.”
