Thales Group is contributing to Europe’s next-generation air defense with the SAMP/T NG system, powered by its advanced Ground Fire radar. Denmark becomes the third country to join the program, following France and Italy, under an export contract with deliveries starting in 2028.
The system delivers long-range (up to 400 km), 360° surveillance and high-speed tracking of multiple aerial threats, including drones and ballistic missiles. It is also integrated with AI and cyber capabilities through Thales’ SkyDefender framework, enhancing multi-domain protection across land, sea, and air.
Built for mobility, interoperability, and rapid deployment, SAMP/T NG strengthens European and NATO air defense while supporting strategic autonomy through advanced radar, command systems, and missile integration.
