Textron Systems Corporation and its subsidiary Howe & Howe Inc. unveiled the RIPSAW M1 uncrewed ground vehicle (UGV) demonstrator at Modern Day Marine 2026. Designed to support US Marine Corps operations, the M1 emphasizes littoral mobility and uncrewed teaming.
Built using a modular open systems approach, the vehicle can perform missions such as counter-drone defense, reconnaissance, and launching loitering munitions. It is intended to act as a robotic force multiplier, extending the reach and protection of Marine units while reducing risk to personnel.
The M1 highlights Textron’s push to scale autonomous ground systems and integrate them into future Marine Corps operations under Force Design 2030.
