Lockheed Martin and the US Department of War announced a framework agreement on March 25th, 2026, to accelerate production of Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM), building on last year’s $4.94 billion Army contract and quadrupling production capacity.

The move supports the US military’s long-range strike capabilities, following PrSM’s combat debut during Operation Epic Fury. Designed to succeed ATACMS, PrSM offers extended range, enhanced lethality, and platform versatility.

Lockheed Martin is leveraging advanced technologies, digital engineering, and expanded manufacturing facilities to meet operational demand, while creating high-paying American jobs and strengthening the nation’s industrial base.
