Thales and ArianeGroup have successfully launched the FLP-t 150 ballistic munition, a major milestone for France’s long-range strike capabilities.

Thales is developing the X-Fire launcher and fire control systems, while ArianeGroup provides propulsion and guidance technologies based on ballistic missile expertise. The FLP-t 150 can hit targets beyond 150 km with precision, even in jammed environments.

The mobile X-Fire launcher, set for demonstration firings in May 2026, is designed for rapid deployment, interoperability, and resilience using Thales’ anti-jamming TopStar technology.
