Lockheed Martin will provide training devices and services for the US Navy’s E-130J Phoenix II as part of a team led by Northrop Grumman supporting the TACAMO airborne communications mission.
The E-130J, based on the C-130J-30 Super Hercules, will ensure secure, resilient communications between national leadership and strategic forces when ground systems are disrupted.
Lockheed Martin will develop high-fidelity training systems to prepare Navy crews for the aircraft’s advanced communications and command-and-control roles ahead of operational deployment.
