At the Manhattan Contrarian, Francis Manton weighs in on what he feels is the most important issue in this election: Donald Trump would be able to make some real changes. As Francis Menton explains, the real threat to the Deep State is Trump’s ability to disrupt it.

Despite his pledge last time around to “drain the swamp,” Trump made remarkably little progress during is first term at reining in the permanent bureaucracy. But he was hamstrung by the Russia hoax and other steps of the security apparatus to undermine him. This time around he would have a much better chance of making some real changes.

The Manhattan Contrarian explains what voters can expect from a Harris administration on Foreign Policy, Energy Policy, and Government Handouts. As Mr. Manton reiterates, to his thinking, the most important issue in this election is draining the swamp.
