The BBC reports that Iran is weighing its response after U.S. airstrikes over the weekend targeted key nuclear sites, significantly setting back its nuclear program, according to American officials. The operation, codenamed Midnight Hammer, involved 125 aircraft and 75 precision weapons, including massive bunker-buster bombs. The strikes come amid escalating direct conflict between Iran and Israel. President Trump warned of stronger future action if Iran does not agree to a nuclear deal. They write:
