President Trump excoriated Democrats in New York City who nominated Zohran Mamdani for mayor in their primary election. Mamdani is a “democratic socialist” whose platform includes:
- Freezing the rent
- City-owned grocery stores
- Free buses
- Free childcare
- Raising corporate taxes
- Raising the minimum wage to $30
- and “Trump-Proofing NYC”
Trump responded to Mamdani’s win in the primary by posting:
It’s finally happened, the Democrats have crossed the line. Zohran Mamdani, a 100% Communist Lunatic, has just won the Dem Primary, and is on his way to becoming Mayor. We’ve had Radical Lefties before, but this is getting a little ridiculous. He looks TERRIBLE, his voice is grating, he’s not very smart, he’s got AOC+3, Dummies ALL, backing him, and even our Great Palestinian Senator, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, is groveling over him. Yes, this is a big moment in the History of our Country!
Mamdani wants to use $65 million for “gendera affirming care” (aka sex changes and hormones) for kids.
I’m coming to New York City with a sign that says ‘Zohran Mamdani Wants To Sterilize Kids.’
He plans to spend $65 million on childhood sex changes.

Mamdani has also expressed his admiration of terrorists in the past, for which Congressman Andy Ogles has requested AG Pam Bondi revoke Mamdani’s citizenship. Ogles wrote the letter below to the Department of Justice:
