“NO violence, NO lawbreaking, NO vandalism.” President Trump released a statement and video yesterday where he said all the right things.
Too little, too late? Perhaps. There are many examples, however, of Democrats urging violence against Trump and his supporters.
No one is attempting to justify Trump’s election rhetoric. Instead, as BRIGHT editors explain, “It’s simply a plea for a consistent and clear standard for impeaching the democratically-elected President of the United States.”
BRIGHT also reports on two of the numerous examples of the dangerous, toxic cancel culture coming for conservatives and Trump supporters.
If you had any doubts about whether cancel culture is real, take a look at this Twitter thread about a guy who was fired from his new job when a client found out he worked for Trump.
If you think that’s bad, it gets worse:
- (Twitter) threatened to take legal action and publicly defame him if he didn’t delete a tweet sharing what the company did to him. So now, they can fire you for your political views—and shut you up!
- In another example, AR15.com, the biggest gun forum in the world, was deplatformed on Monday by web hosting company GoDaddy without explanation.
