Glenn Beck Unmasks the Marxists

Your America is being run by a president whose advisors are self-avowed radicals, communists, Marxists, statists, and socialists. When Obama said, “We cannot continue…,” who did he mean by “we”? Words are powerful. The president knows this. And words like that are often meant by the leaders who speak them to incite a revolution or coup.

The “we” Barack Obama referred to are the army of revolutionary radicals, Marxists, statists, and socialists who want a new type of America. They are not the 90% of Americans who believe in our country’s founding principles. I know the “we” are not me, nor most likely you, nor Glenn Beck, whose special series last week, “A New Republic: America’s Future,” pinned down these radicals advising our president. In fact, one out of every 100 Americans watched Mr. Beck. It was a pivot point for America.

The radicals Obama has surrounded himself with are not the advisors candidate Obama promised. He now has more than three dozen of these advisors, or “czars” as Mr. Beck calls them, and we met just a handful last week.

Take Van Jones, our new green jobs “czar,” for example. He’s been an avowed communist since 1992, when he was jailed during the Rodney King riots. He talks about going in as a rowdy nationalist and coming out a communist. Now he talks about connecting the pipeline from the prisons to the green jobs movement where no one will be left behind. He founded STORM, which considers Mao, responsible for the worst genocide of the 20^th century, in which 49 to 70 million of his own people died, a hero. He’s their role model?

In his words, Van Jones “smuggled” $500 million from the stimulus bill for the green movement. Is “smuggled” a word you want associated with your tax dollars? Van Jones founded the Apollo Group, who helped write the stimulus bill and whose efforts on the bill were applauded by Senator Harry Reid. Do Americans know this is happening? Glenn Beck must be overreacting, right? Believe me he’s not.

Then we learned that another Jones, this one Jeff Jones, is part of the committee that helps organizations receive the stimulus money. He’s the co-founder of the Weather Underground. You may recall that the other co-founder, Bill Ayers, and Obama met once. Of course, the Weather Underground is the domestic terrorist group that has bombed government buildings. A co-founder of a domestic terrorist group is an advisor to the president? Thomas Jefferson must be rolling in his grave.

Next, we have FCC diversity “czar” Mark Lloyd, who is for anything but diversity. He praises Hugo Chavez for figuring out the advantages of controlling the media for the benefit of the state. Through “localism” and “diversity,” he plans to do just that in America. He seeks to tax radio stations at 100% of their operating budget. How many companies can survive that? Not many, unless they’re the government. If a company can’t pay the tax, then its radio license goes to another organization. In his book Prologue to a Farce, Lloyd considers free speech as a “distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies.” And in a separate item, ACORN was just awarded a license in New York. Are you kidding me?

I wish this were a joke. The Drudge Report has a story about a bill that would give Obama emergency control of the Internet. That’s Cass Sunstein’s idea. He’s the regulatory “czar.” He wrote the book Nudge, which claims that Americans need the government to help them make more of their money decisions. Haven’t we already seen how poorly the government manages money?

Then there’s Ezekiel Emanuel. He’s the health-care advisor and a proponent of the complete lives system, which puts values on lives mostly by age. His younger brother is Obama’s chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, who said, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” You almost get the feeling these guys operate best in a crisis.

Do you see where this is leading? Too many radicals, communists, Marxists, statists, socialists, and anti-capitalists have the president’s ear. We have an army of community organizers looking to take from you and give to somebody else. Do they understand the work and effort it takes to earn a living?

My father was a successful real estate broker. He was successful because he worked hard. He worked many nights and most Saturdays showing houses. He could have chosen to do nothing. Instead, he made sacrifices so our family could do the things he didn’t do as a kid. A government with wealth-distributing “czars” doesn’t respect his sacrifices or yours. A government always needs and wants more. A government of radicals has no idea what sacrifices so many successful Americans like my father have made for their families. And they want to take it all away.

Ninety percent of Americans, whether they are Republican, Democrat, or Independent, believe in the principles of our Constitution. So why are the radicals overrunning the White House? Glenn Beck did our nation a great service last week. One out of every 100 Americans watched and heard the truth. A week from tomorrow, on September 12, Americans will stand up with Mr. Beck in Washington, D.C., and protest against the “we” our president thinks he’s governing. You can, too.
