This is great news if you, like me, are in possession of a concealed carry license. One of the biggest hassles with my CCL is that it’s useless when I visit my family in Massachusetts. Here’s how we are going to get our concealed carry privileges in RI. Specifically, the proposed language reads, “The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 doesn’t specify a residency requirement. So, for example, a resident of New York City who obtained a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit could legally carry a firearm in The Big Apple. (I suspect that would make a certain billionaire plutocrat rather cross.).”
