Joe Biden’s speech was lauded by the media, but actual viewership was far below that of Hillary Clinton.
In 2016 when Clinton gave her acceptance speech, she captured the attention of an estimated 30 million viewers. Joe, despite the advantage of COVID-19 restrictions keeping people at home and in front of the TV, couldn’t break 25 million viewers.
Biden’s ratings were 18% lower than Clinton’s. With a measurable enthusiasm drop like that among supporters of the Democratic candidates, how is Biden supposed to win where Clinton couldn’t?
