Dear Baseball,
FIGURE IT OUT!!!
I have constantly defended you through it all, but I have to say, I can’t anymore. Not until you realize the damage that you are doing to this great game and get back on the field.
To the owners, negotiate in good faith. Realize that the last 4-5 years have been extremely profitable to you and your franchise. Given the current state of our country, do what’s right and give back a little more to the players.
As for you the players … Now is not the time to dig your heels in. Be willing to give back as well. You both have a great opportunity to showcase this great game when the nation is looking for sports to return. Be the first because you can’t afford to be the last.
I’m not sure if you realize it or not, but your fans are on the edge. They aren’t happy. Trust me I hear it every day. If for a second either of you thinks that you are better off not playing at all this year, think again. I’ll always be here waiting for the next game but I can’t speak for everyone. I know both sides are very competitive. But now is not the time to keep score. Nobody cares who wins because right now you’re both losing.
STOP and do what’s right.
FIGURE IT OUT … For The Love of The Game!!
