The bane of big cruise ships is that they are the grand polluters of safe, clean harbors. They also are the master spreaders of CORONA.
No one is doing more to send these befouling monsters of the seas out of town for good than my friend Arlo Haskell and his crusaders at Committee for Safer, Cleaner Ships.
In upstate Dade City, entrenched political and special interest hacks are looking to derail the ecological and anti-CORONA spreading work of safercleanerships.com.
Arlo and the ecological-minded citizens of beautiful Key West have no personal financial ax to grind. After netting out the annual expenses of police, fire and staffing to Key West from the cruise ship blight, the city will not miss revenues from these monster cruise ships.
My family has been a Key’s Old Town real estate tax supporter for nearly three decades.
There is no question that Arlo Haskell’s Committee for Safer, Cleaner Ships is on the right track here.
Arlo needs the support of every ecologically minded KW citizen.
