Dearborn, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, has a population of about 98,000, of which 29% speak Arabic. As of 2014, the city council president was Muslim and the majority of the council members were Arab.
The Islamic Center of America Mosque, Dearborn, Michigan, is pictured above. It is the largest mosque in North America. The towers are 150 feet high.
