
MBDA, which describes itself as “a unique multi-national European group, a world-leader in the field of complex weapon systems,” reported strong growth and accelerated production during its annual press conference, with CEO Eric Béranger highlighting that missile output doubled between 2023 and 2025 and is set to rise another 40% in 2026.
To sustain this momentum, MBDA plans to invest €5 billion across Europe from 2026 to 2030, reinforcing its role in strengthening European defense readiness, industrial capacity, and strategic autonomy amid evolving global security threats. MBDA writes:
- Missile production doubled between 2023 and the end of 2025
- A further 40% production rise planned in 2026 alone
- A doubled planned investment for the 2026-2030 period, reaching 5 billion euros spent on European soil, along with 2800 hires in 2026
