During a ceremony on Capitol Hill this past week, the Attorney General poked fun at Nancy Pelosi: “Madam Speaker, did you bring your handcuffs?”

“Mrs. Pelosi has flatly accused Mr. Barr of lying to Congress, and last week the Judiciary Committee voted to recommend he be held in contempt,” reports the WSJ.

Some excitable Democrats want the AG arrested unless he complies with House demands for documents and testimonies.

Tennessee Congressman Steve Cohen:

Taunted Mr. Barr with “Chicken Barr” while Cohen ate a bucket of KFC at a 9 a.m. hearing of the Judiciary Committee.

“I think you have to have him locked up unless he agrees to participate.”

Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin

“We know how to arrest people around here … I’m not afraid of that. If they can arrest my constituents, we can arrest someone else who’s disobeying the law.”
