After enduring constant protests at its Denver, Colorado, headquarters and a hostile state legislature there, Palantir has decided to move its headquarters to Miami, Florida. The company announced its move with a simple statement on X.com:
We have moved our headquarters to Miami, Florida.

The Adams County GOP explained in a separate post why it believes Palantir abandoned Colorado for business-friendly Florida, writing:
The Denver Departure: Why Palantir Left Colorado
The quiet relocation of Palantir Technologies from Denver to Florida serves as a loud wake-up call regarding Colorado’s increasingly hostile business environment created by Democrats. Despite Palantir reporting a massive $1.6 billion profit, the company chose to exit the state without even notifying Governor Jared Polis, who admitted he only learned of the move through social media. This lack of communication highlights a growing rift between the tech sector and a state government that has become increasingly disconnected from the needs of major employers. Democrats are hostile to business.
A primary driver for this exit is the state’s poor Democratic legislative decisions regarding Artificial Intelligence. Palantir explicitly cited Colorado’s 2024 AI bill in its investor filings, describing the new regulations as “difficult, onerous, and costly.” By imposing restrictive mandates on how AI is used and reported, Colorado Democrats have effectively signaled to the tech industry that innovation will be met with red tape and litigation risk, driving high-growth companies and jobs toward states like Florida that prioritize economic freedom over over-regulation.
Furthermore, the move exposes how radical environmental policies have destroyed our ability to produce reliable energy and maintain a stable infrastructure. In its filing, Palantir noted that Colorado’s climate-related events—compounded by “power shutoffs”—posed a direct risk to their operations. When a global intelligence firm no longer trusts a state to keep the lights on or provide a stable regulatory landscape, it’s a clear sign that current leadership has traded Colorado’s economic future for a failing ideological agenda.
There are three things Democrats excel at in Colorado: destroying business, stealing our money, and taking our civil rights.
Public union protesters from SEIU demanded that Palantir leave Colorado, and now they are getting their wish as the state’s largest publicly traded corporation takes its people, and its tax dollars, out of state.
Businesses that work with ICE are enemies to our communities and our shared humanity.
On the day of a general strike, our demand is bigger than one company. We want Palantir out of Colorado — and we want corporations that enable ICE to be held accountable. pic.twitter.com/u6nXHD9Tfg

Who will pay the salaries of these public union employees when all the taxpayers have fled?
