President Trump is “manufacturing a crisis,” Pelosi said.

(Pelosi in 2008: “We need to address the issue of illegal immigration and the challenge we have of undocumented people in our country—we certainly don’t want any more coming in.”)

Trump’s border wall is “ineffective” and “unnecessary,” Schumer added.

(Chuck Schumer in 2009: “630 miles of border fence” made our southern border “far more secure” because it “created a significant barrier to illegal immigration.”)
