
With the aid of a Black Hawk helicopter and troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol, Customs and Border Patrol agents arrested 12 criminal illegal aliens in Key Largo last month. The Keys News reports:
Federal agents, utilizing a Black Hawk helicopter, and partnering with Florida Highway Patrol arrested 12 immigrants allegedly in the U.S. illegally as part of an operation in Key Largo last month.
The U.S. Customs & Border Protection’s (CBP) Air and Marine branches in Miami and Key Largo participated in the Keys immigration crackdown.
“With support from the Florida Highway Patrol, 12 illegal aliens from Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela, Colombia, and Guatemala were arrested during the operation,” according to a statement fro CBP’s Air & Marine Operations.
“Records checks revealed prior charges and convictions among the individuals, including re-entry after deportation, DUI, obstruction, illegal concealed carry of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance with a weapon, resisting an officer with violence, battery, strangulation, domestic violence, and other offenses,’ the federal law enforcement agency said in its announcement.
