Why Is Harris at the Top of the Ticket
The reasonable expectation for the abusive lawfare of the Joe Biden/Kamala Harris administration would become the abusive lawfare of the Harris/Walz administration, predicts the WSJ.
The pols remain tight as voters get ready to put Donald Trump or Kamala Harris in the White House. Let’s hope voters remember that they are voting to elect Trump or Harris toe the most powerful office in the world.
Kamal Harris, who continues to have a clear obligation to address Joe Biden’s cognitive challenges, still refuses to do so—or even admit he’s impaired, reports James Freeman.
(America’s) vice president (Kamala Harris), the former district attorney of San Francisco and former attorney general of California, also continues to avoid criticizing her administration’s targeting of her political opponent. This is a very good indication that the abuse of power will not end if (Kamala Harris) is elected president.
Who Is Kamala Harris
James Freeman posts an excerpt from an NBC transcript of Hallie Jackson’s Tuesday interview with Kamala Harris. Freeman warns readers not to look for an honest accounting of why Democrats replaced their presidential nominee after Joe Biden won enough delegates to secure his nomination.
JACKSON:
If you win, it is entirely possible that the federal court cases against the former president will continue. He is, of course, facing those felony charges. Would you consider if you win and he’s convicted, a pardon for former President Trump?
HARRIS:
I’m not going to get into those hypotheticals. I’m focused on the next 14 days.
JACKSON:
… the reason that you are at the top of the ticket is because [Joe Biden] dropped out of this race. And so I want to ask you, and it was largely because of that debate performance back in June. You defended him in the days before and in the days after, as you were campaigning for another four years for President Biden. Can you say that you were honest with the American people about what you saw in those moments with President Biden, as you were with him again and again, repeatedly in that time?
HARRIS:
Of course. Joe Biden is an — extremely accomplished, experienced and capable in every way that anyone would want if they’re president. Absolutely.
JACKSON:
And you never saw anything like what happened at the debate night behind closed doors with him?
HARRIS:
It was a bad debate. People have bad debates. That — he is absolutely…
JACKSON…
But that’s the reason why you’re here, and he’s not running for the top of the ticket.
HARRIS:
Well, you’d have to ask him if that’s the only reason why.
JACKSON:
What do you think? It’s a judgment question, that’s why I ask. Can the American people trust you in these moments, even when it’s maybe uncomfortable for Americans to have, to level with Americans in that way? So that’s why I ask. And it sounds like what you’re saying is you feel like you feel like you never saw anything like that from President Biden?
HARRIS:
I have worked with Joe Biden, whether — hours and hours and hours over these four years, whether it be in the Situation Room or the Oval Office. Joe Biden is the one who was able to bring NATO together during a crisis where for the first time in 70 years Europe saw and has seen war. Joe Biden has done the work that has been about being a leader on what we have done to fix so much of what has been broken in terms of the economy because of Donald Trump’s mismanagement.
I speak with not only sincerity, but with a real first-hand account of watching him do this work. I have no reluctance in saying that. No, of course I don’t.
As American Greatness notes, If Donald Trump does not win, “the party of Democracy” will make sure the political prosecutions drag on until he is locked up or deemed no longer a threat.
The Prosperity Reduction Act
One of the roles of VP is president of the Senate. As Joe Biden’s VP, Kamala Harris cast the tie-breaking vote that saddled the American people with Biden’s “Inflation Reduction Act,” but which ought to have been called the “Prosperity Reduction Act.”
In the nearly four years that the Biden-Harris administration has been in office, the cost of living has risen by 20 percent. The rising cost of food, housing and energy has been especially painful for middle-class families.
