In his State of the Union address, Joe Biden began a desperate campaign to distance Democrats, who encouraged the riots and looting of 2020 and 2021, from their own movement to “defund the police.” In what can only be described as one of the sharpest U-turns in history, Biden took the Democrat Party from a message of abolishing the police to one supporting them. He said, “We should all agree the answer is not to defund the police, it’s to fund the police!” The blatant flip-flopping of the Democrat Party is a sure sign they are fearful of a wipeout on Election Day as their crime-inducing encouragement of anti-police behavior catches up to them. But not everyone in the party agrees on the flip-flop. BLM activists and radical socialist Democrats in the House were appalled that Biden abandoned them in his speech. Carlos Garcia reports at The Blaze:
The official account for the “Black Lives Matter” movement and many of its supporters lashed out at President Joe Biden after he proclaimed that Democrats would help fund the police in his State of the Union speech.
Biden emphatically renounced the “Defund the Police” movement in his speech and most Democrats applauded his statement.
“Proven strategies like community violence interruption, trusted messengers, breaking the cycle of violence and trauma, and giving young people some hope,” said Biden.
“We should all agree the answer is not to defund the police, it’s to fund the police!” he added.
“Fund them! Fund them!” Biden continued during the applause. “Fund them with resources and training! Resources and training they need to protect our communities!”
Not all were pleased at the policy announcement.
The official BLM account posted a frowning photograph of Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) in response to Biden’s statement.

“Fund the police? F*** you, Joe Biden. I f***ing hate this s***hole country,” tweeted one user who identified himself as a communist.“Love how Biden listed a bunch of bipartisan things he signed for many groups and then for black ppl was like, ‘F*** YOUR MARCHES, More money for the police!
