Recently, Governor Andrew Cuomo told NYC restaurants they would be allowed to open at 25% of capacity starting on September 30. Besides being limited to the bare minimum number of customers, restaurants will be paying for safety protocols, including temperature checks, collecting contact information for tracing, and enforcing face-covering rules.
Perhaps worst of all, bar service will not be permitted, and restaurants will be forced to close at midnight.
This is a strategy almost certain to lose money for most restaurants who try it. For sticking restaurant owners with the bill for his bad decisions, Gov. Andrew Cuomo is the ass of the week!
