Uh-oh, Here We Go Again 

Looking at the risk to the DNC’s regular order and discipline, it’s hard not to smirk. The DNC has approved a resolution challenging the validity of David Hogg’s election on pretextual grounds. The DNC is set to nullify the race later this month and bounce David Hogg, “the little chiseler,” aka a DNC vice president chair, out of office altogether. He got too greedy with his power too fast.

In NRO, Jeffrey Blehar admits to being slightly amused by Democrats nullifying their own democratic process.

A panel from the DNC has found that the Parkland shooting survivor (David Hogg) and another vice chair were not properly elected this year. The process could lead Hogg’s ouster amid backlash to his plans to support primary challengers to House Democrats, reports James Freeman in the WSJ.

The DNC Cannibalizing Itself 

Don’t forget, the DNC voted for Hogg as vice-chair a mere three months ago.

Upon what grounds do they propose to undo that vote? (“Behaving like a traitorous weasel” was apparently insufficient under current DNC bylaws.) Upon grounds of insufficient wokeness, as it turns out.

From the Washington Post: 

The Credentials Committee’s recommendation will get a vote from the full DNC membership. If approved, the two vice chair elections will be invalidated, and new elections will be held as soon as practicable. The new elections will be limited to the same five candidates who were eligible at the February vote.

The challenge to the election was filed more than two months ago — before Hogg’s announcement about primary challenges — by Kalyn Free, an Oklahoma activist who unsuccessfully sought one of the vice chair slots in the Feb. 1 election. She argued the DNC broke its rules on gender diversity in party officer elections, invalidating the election of Hogg and a second vice chair, Malcolm Kenyatta.

Mr. Kenyatta believes he is being treated “unfairly” after traveling 19,805 miles; he disparages the DNC:

“I’ve done nearly 3 dozen events. -I’ve been to 8 states and traveled to visit our Dems Abroad. -I’ve raised money for this party through call time and events.”

Hogg Is a Goner

Even the infamous James Carville weights in on David Hogg, calling him “a contemptable little twerp”.

At risk is the collapse of regular rules and order within the DNC.

Democrats sure look like they don’t want democracy to prevail.
