A Calculated Decision to Keep Silent

May 20, 2025 By Debbie Young

An Unfortunate Turn of Events

The American public generally is a forgiving, kind body that wishes  Joe Biden, former president of the US, a complete and speedy recovery from cancer. It has been reported that Biden has an aggressive form of prostate cancer.

There’s a high probability that Joe Biden’s diagnosis has been known for many years. “A calculated decision” was made not to announce it, not treat it, and hope that after the re-election, the treatment could be done when it was still a local disease. “An unfortunate turn of events,” writes Steven Quay in Spectator. Doctor Quay is a faculty member at Stanford University Medical School and is now the CEO of the breast cancer prevention company, Atossa Therapeutics.

How Could a President Not Be Properly Screened?

As Dr. Quay points out, prostate cancer does not appear overnight. Prostate cancer usually festers.

In rare but dangerous cases, prostate cancer bypasses the usual slow growth and strikes fast, especially in older men. If he wasn’t screened regularly or had an aggressive subtype that evaded PSA detection, it could have advanced under the radar. But how can we imagine that a President was not screened properly?

The good news is that prostate cancer is the easiest to diagnose: a PSA blood test shows the rate of cancer cell growth. Even among the most aggressive forms, it could be a 5-7 year journey without treatment before it becomes metastatic. This means, continues Dr. Quay, it would be malpractice to have shown up and been first diagnosed with metastatic disease in May 2025.

From Dr. Chris George from Northwestern University:

… it’s sort of hard for me to believe that he’s had a PSA within the past year, that was normal. It’s possible. It’s definitely possible, but that would surprise me… Usually prostate cancer doesn’t, you know, go full throttle like this too often. When it does, that’s usually a bad, bad sign. That’s an aggressive cancer for sure. But it does seem odd to me. I agree.”

It is highly likely that Biden was carrying a diagnosis of prostate cancer throughout his White House tenure, and the American people were uninformed.

“The highest probability is that the diagnosis has been known for many years, but a calculated decision was made not to announce it, not treat it, and hope that after the re-election, the treatment could be done when it was still a local disease. An unfortunate turn of events,”

Which leads Americans to ask, where were the vice president and the Biden cabinet? Why did they fail to exercise their constitutional authority to ensure competent leadership for the United States?

In a just-released book, the info seems to confirm that these officials had no excuses for their inaction. What made Ms. Harris and the Cabinet secretaries, asks James Freeman in the WSJ, play along with the charade?

The Disgraced Biden Cabinet

Cabinet meetings were highly scripted and featured heavy use of note cards even after reporters had left the room. From “Original Sin,”

The Cabinet meetings were terrible and at times uncomfortable — and they were from the beginning,” one secretary told them. “I don’t recall a great Cabinet meeting in terms of his presence. They were so scripted.

Why didn’t Cabinet members exercise their authority under the 25th Amendment to ensure that the United States had capable leadership?

A Code of Silence among Democrat Elites

“For months, we didn’t have access to him. There was clearly a deliberate strategy by the White House to have him meet with as few people as necessary,” the Cabinet secretary told the authors of “Original Sin,” reports Mr. Freeman.

At one rare meeting during that time, the Cabinet secretary “was shocked by how the president was acting. He seemed ‘disoriented’ and ‘out of it,’ his mouth agape,” according to the book.

VP Kamala Harris failed her leadership test, as did the entire disgraced Biden Cabinet.
