Sometimes Older Is Better

I just received a note from an old friend who made an old purchase. Tim Jones sent me some pictures of his “new” old 1972 Chevy pickup truck. Tim has done years of mechanic work, and began rebuilding engines way back around the time this old truck was built. He’s tired of all the new gadgetry on trucks and cars built today, so he wanted something a little vintage. Here’s what he wrote:

I bought this 1972 Chevy truck
No computer
EMP proof. It’s mechanically perfect. I bought new body panels to fix the rear.
There’s nothing on it that I haven’t done in the past.
No need to take it to a repair shop
Has a brand new 350 engine.
