Sen Joe Manchin Carries Water for President Obama

Sen. Joe Manchin is attempting to neutralize GOP spending cuts by saying only the president can lead on budget negotiations. Mr. Manchin says neither the Democrats or Republicans have come out with the right plan for cutting the budget. This smells like a setup for the President as the “moderate” in the negotiations. Meanwhile, none of the proposals so far has come anywhere near the cuts needed to right the ship of state.
