Morning in Newport

In that New England has taken on autumnal tones too soon for most gardeners, especially after the beating from this past winter’s bitter cold, cooler weather in mid August was a bit unsettling. A 5:40 sunrise hinted of fall mornings coming—perhaps too early—our way.
