Over the weekend, Phil Niekro, Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher, died at age 81. Niekro, best know for his “filthy” knuckleball, won 318 games in his 24-year career, mostly with the Atlanta Braves.

Not many pitchers use the knuckleball today, but take a moment to enjoy watching Niekro make, according to one reporter’s views, “professional hitters look downright silly.”

As Pete Rose lamented, “You spend two weeks trying to get your swing down, and Niekro screws it up in one night.”
