Washington Alert:
Dennis Kucinich now says he will vote for ObamaCare, following his ride with President Obama on Air Force I. Democrats claim to have 212 votes. I doubt they can write them all down. Look for some defectors from the “yea” group as the pressure from Americans begins to really mount. Do you realize that anyone saying they’ll vote ‘yea’ is supporting a bill that hasn’t even been written yet?

USMC Tea Partiers? – Human Events
The giant anti-Obamacare rally on Capitol Hill had an interesting look to it. Jeb notes that a lot of the protestors were guys with really short hair and really shiny shoes. And what were the protesters waving? They were waving the flag of the United States Marine Corps. As Jeb says, bless ‘em all. – Dick Young
Democrats to Watch on the Health Care Vote – The New York Times
Democrats need 216 votes to pass Obamacare. They now have only 193 likely “yes” votes. No wonder Speaker Pelosi appears to want to avoid an actual vote. Should the health-care bill be signed into law without an up-or-down vote in the House on the Senate bill, you can count on the following: 1) a Supreme Court challenge, 2) a movement by many states to opt out of the scheme, and 3) a Republican takeover of the House in 2010 and possibly the same result in the Senate. – Dick Young
